Alexandra Prokopenko

Alexandra Prokopenko is a senior fellow at the Carnegie Russia Eurasia Center in Berlin, whose commentary has appeared in the Financial Times, Foreign Affairs and Bloomberg. Before the full-scale invasion of Ukraine she was an adviser at Russia’s central bank (2019–22) and, earlier, a member of the Russian government press corps, reporting from the Kremlin (2008–17).
