Elizabeth Buchanan

Elizabeth Buchanan is a senior fellow at the Australian Strategic Policy Institute and the Center for the National Interest, Washington, DC. She co-founded West Point’s polar warfare programme and was the Royal Australian Navy’s head of research. Her books include So You Want to Own Greenland? and Trenches to TikTok: Our Generational Rupture on War (both published by Hurst); Russian Energy Strategy in the Asia-Pacific (Australian National University Press, 2021); and Red Arctic: Russian Strategy Under Putin (Brookings Institute Press, 2023).
