Fumihiko Takayama
Fumihiko Takayama is a prominent writer of fiction and nonfiction. Fireworks, his critical biography of the author Tamio Hojo, who succumbed to leprosy aged 23, won the prestigious Oya Soichi Nonfiction Prize and Kodansha Nonfiction Award. The Last and Longest Mile is Takayama’s first book to appear in English translation.
